GOAN YOUTH ACHIEVER 2009 AWARDS.

Goa Sudharop Community Development Inc. U.S.A., a Goan diaspora, volunteer, non-profit NGO, working for betterment of Goa and Goans worldwide, wishes to announce Goan Youth Achiever 2009 Awards to Goan youth for outstanding or iconic work in fields like 1) Sports - all catagories, 2) Environmental Awareness and Protection, 3) Social Work, 4) Art & Culture, including Music and Heritage. The age limit to qualify for these awards is from 15 to 25 years. There are in all four awards to be won, and each awardee will receive a sum of Rs. 10,000/- in cash and a Certificate of Merit. Goa Sudharop observes 2009 as "Year of Youth" in Goa, and these awards is one of the several educational programmes being organised by Goa Sudharop during this theme year.
 

Aspiring youth are invited to apply with full documentary evidence, including certifications and recommendations from relevant authorities or institutions, before 15th December 2009.
