Flip Flops for Youth

Each year we set a goal to raise funds for flip flops, the three ways the people can help are local "flop drops," donating online, or mailing checks made out to Goa Sudharop. With the assistance of NSS volunteers in Goa, we are looking for them to distribute these flip flops to the Youth in the poverty stricken areas. Each flip flop donated to the youth will include an inspirational quote. "Be the change you wish to see in the world"

Goa DESC E-Documentation and Consumer Information Center Project

"Goa Sudharop supports GOA DESC, an activist collective working on the issues of development and democracy by addressing the need for critical, alternative materials and acting as a catalyst to stimulate the process of pro-people reforms in Goa. One of the major initiatives of GOA DESC is the Goa Civic and Consumer Action Network (GOA CAN), a project working to empower consumers at the grassroots level as well as provide citizens information on government and other social services.
